Crystal Soda Blast is a rapidly growing local mobile abrasive blasting business. We use various medias (sand, baking soda, walnut shell, steel shot, dry ice, etc.) to prepare and restore surfaces. We've been in business since 2001, and are currently seeking an experience sand blaster to join our team. We are currently seeking an experienced sand blaster to join our team. Experienced Sand Blaster - Nights and Weekends required:

Duties include operating multiple types of blasting equipment, grinders, scarifiers, and generators, carrying various medias, building containment units, and thorough clean up. Applicants mus be able to be on feet all day and lift up to 100 lbs consistently.The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, be a self-starter with a high level of professional integrity, have a good work ethic and a strong competitive drive. Strong construction background is helpful.

Qualifications:

Organizational skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with laborers, management, customers and contractors
Problem solving skills
Mathmatical skills
Ability to work in a full face mask with hoses and in low light conditions
Able to drive a truck towing a trailer
OSHA 10 Certification (will train)
Able to trouble shoot equipment failures (will train)

Job Requirements:

Valid WA State driver's license and reliable transportation
Clean driving record - NO EXCEPTIONS - IF YOU HAVE NO LICENSE OR MORE THAN A SPEEDING TICKET DO NOT APPLY
18 years of age or older
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Agree to a background check
Out of town travel REQUIRED
Have CPR/1st Aid Certification (within 90 days of hire)
Must be a US Citizen with all required documentation
Able to work Nights, Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays (as needed) with little notice
Have prior sand and/or shot blasting experience.

Employment is year round and typically shifts are Monday- Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Ideal candidates will:

Be self-motivating
Be able to work alone
Have a current drivers license (required) with good driving record (no infractions)
Be reliable and hard-working
Have prior blasting experience (if applying for Sandblaster position)

Typically shifts are Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Some nights, weekends, and overtime required.
