Removed old, dirty paint from this historic Kirkland, WA building located on Lake Street. We used soda with a water injector at the nozzle to control the dust since we were in a high pedestrian area. We also worked with the City of Kirkland and other government agencies to exceed their safety and health requirements such as putting a pump in the storm drain to divert run off to the sewer.

During a cold snap, this house's pipes burst causing the basement to flood. Black mold grew on the dry wall and studs. After the dry wall was removed we used dry ice to kill and remove the mold. The clean up was minimal since the dry ice sublimates on contact.

We were asked by a customer to help restore an old Grumman Goose Airplane in Everett, WA at Paine Field. We started using 2 different kinds of plastic media and then 2 different types of soda until we found the right level of pressure and abrasiveness to keep the integrity of the plane structure while still cleaning off the years of paint and insulation glue. We did the blasting inside his hangar. A containment built from scaffold and wood framing allowed him to keep the other planes and vehicles from getting dusty while we blasted.

Here is a stone fireplace that is covered in soot and smoke stain after a house fire. We used soda and sand to remove the soot to restore it to like new conditions. Occasionally we need to switch to a very fine non toxic sand to remove the deep stains.

Here's a set of new cement stairs that we sand blasted to give a nice decorative finish.

This is a concrete sandblasting project at Bastyr College in St. Edwards Park in Kenmore, WA. We did courtyards and sidewalks like this throughout the campus. In the picture below we are halfway done with the area. Notice how even the blast area is.

This is a corncob blasting project where we removed sealer from cedar siding on a house in Sequim, WA. Blasting on the siding works well with sealant but is not effective on paint. Which is why it is so important to choose the right media for the right job.
