During these uncertain times we are looking for ways we can help our community. We think the following skills can help our customers as we have capability, materials and equipment for building containments and disinfecting:
Containments:
- Fifty percent of sandblasting is building a tight containment. We can help construct isolation areas with negative air flow for medical facilities as well as private residences. As our hospitals and medical facilities become overwhelmed we feel that keeping certain lower risk people in their homes but isolated from others will help.
- CSB has negative air units, plastic and tape ready to be utilized
Disinfecting:
- Due to our abatement experience the CSB team is trained on cleaning hazardous materials without spreading it to new areas. We are used to having to clean to a degree of clearance testing. As well as using a chamber system to enter and exit affected areas to keep the “clean” side clean.
- Our team has 40 hr. HAZWOPER training- This certification is specifically designed for workers who are involved in clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operations, emergency response operations, and storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. Topics covered during training include protection against hazardous chemicals, elimination of hazardous chemicals, safety of workers and the environment and OSHA regulations.
They are also fit tested and trained to properly wear PPE including respirators.
If that is something you believe is needed please let us know. We are here to help! In the meantime – stay healthy and supportive of one another!
